Florence in Ada / Rare Builders
I couldn't be more pleased to see how my Florence wallpaper turned out in this girl's room from Rare Builders!
My favorite thing about our Florence pattern? It's based off an original painting of mine from 2017. (Seen below in it's forever home on the West Coast.)
Just like the painting, Florence weaves in pops of metallic through it's layers of organically curved colors.

We have progress! Our home now has a roof. (I learned this can be a stressful thing to not have when a hurricane comes through.)
The theme for our new bathroom is loosely “Grandma hasn’t updated her bathroom in 50 years.” My aunt sent me the photo below after I showed her the green bathtub I spec’d. I didn’t realize I was literally recreating my Grandma’s bathroom. Funny how the subconscious works sometimes…
So, between the colorful tub/toilet combo, a custom tile mosaic and these delightful little sconces from Sazerac stitches I’m hoping we’ll hit the right balance of kitsch but cool.
